DAFFODIL DAY

This famous photograph appeared in New Idea magazine in the late nineties featuring Imogen in a bikini made from Daffodils. The photo was used in an advertisement for Daffodil Day, the fundraising event for Australia's Cancer Council.

 

FEMME FATALE CALENDAR

In 2003, Imogen produced her own Calendar to raise money for Ronald McDonald house. The calendar was called Femme Fatale, and featured Imogen in 12 creative scenes including Cuban Crisis, Black Widow, Beach Bomb & Hitch Hiker. > Autographed prints available in the ebay store.

 

OVARIAN CANCER AWARENESS

VAGINA MONOLOGUES
16th Febuary 2005 at the Opera House, Sydney
Celebrities from all over Australia pledged to help stop domestic abuse and violence against women by acting in a one off performance of The Vagina Monologues. The cast included Imogen Bailey, Bec Cartwright, Bianca Dye, Mia Freedman, Corrine Grant, Chloe Maxwell, Gabby Millgate, and Clover Moore. The performance was directed by Danielle Lauren.

 

HURRICANE HEALING

Healing Words: "I recently returned from a trip to L.A where I found myself glued to the news and various programs that were airing 24/7 with footage of the devastation in New Orleans. It's one thing to see it on the news here but another to be in the country and exposed to the after math every minute of every day. Just like every Australian I was touched and concerned for these people and what they have had to face. When disasters like this happen it really makes you stop and think just how lucky we are right now here in oz. When I was asked to be a part of Hurricane healing I jumped at the chance, before becoming involved I knew that I wanted to do something to help but didn't know what that would be. To me the great part of making music is that it brings people together and that is exactly what this project is about, bringing people together and helping to heal"

 

Recently the weather on our sweet earth has gone ... shall we say ... completely NUTS. It is impossible to comprehend the widespread damage and destruction caused by Hurricane's, Tidal Waves, Floods & nature's other monstors. The feeling of helplessness when these tragedies happen so far away effects all of us, but there are some things we can do to help.

A group of Australian musicians got together to do what they do best - sing - to help victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
