Stars Rough It In Paradise

THERE is a certain delicious irony in Ian Dicko Dickson having a bunch of B-list stars at his mercy on Celebrity Survivor.

Four years ago no one had heard of this former record company executive, who became an overnight sensation as a judge on Australian Idol. Now hes the celebrity in charge of celebrities in Sevens new castaway reality series - and its clear he relishes his latest role.
"I think some of them thought it would be Camp Paris," he sniggers. "It did provide some interesting drama."

Dicko says bikini babe Imogen Bailey took the prize for the biggest dummy spit.

"Imogen was a grumpy little Smurf," he says. "She had a face like thunder for the first three days; she really was just like the angry Smurf."

Bailey was one of 11 stars flown to Vanuatu earlier to film Celebrity Survivor, a spin-off from the enormously successful global franchise screened here on Nine.
