Battle of Vanuatu

DON'T expect Ian Dickson to exchange Christmas cards with white witch Fiona Horne.

The two clashed on the set of Celebrity Survivor and certainly didn't leave as friends.
"She rubbed me up the wrong way," Dicko, the show's host, told The Eye yesterday.

"I actually found her really hard to warm to. I thought she was obvious and shallow."

Ouch.

Then again, Dicko was responding to claims from Horne that he was derogatory and sexist.

Dicko confirmed that Horne was not popular with the rest of the celebrities on the show.

"I can't see Fiona and Imogen (Bailey) on each other's Christmas card lists," he said.

"That turned out to be the battle of Vanuatu pretty early on.

"It was two blondes going at each other, so run for cover. They didn't hide their dislike at all."

Dicko thinks he has found his niche on the show after judging on Australian Idol, hosting My Restaurant Rules and appearing on Dancing with the Stars.

"I loved it," he said of the island gig. "It was the most fun I had making a TV show.

"I became obsessed."
